The Pinks worked hard all Season and the scores were close all Season. The team all got on really well and were a pleasure to Coach. The last game of the Season the girls, knowing they wouldn’t get into the finals had a bit of fun and tried positions they haven’t played before.

"The girls have played a great season this year giving nothing more than100% every week. The girls have never not provided us with an entertaining game with amazing shooting and defence and their play down the court just improves and is better to watch each and every week. They have won all bar a few games throughout the season and have finished the season on top of the ladder. We can’t wait to see what finals will bring over the next three weeks."

The girls had a great win Saturday in their first final running out winners over West Coasters by 11 goals. The defensive skills of every player were on display and special mention should be made of Jasmine who ran hard in centre to create opportunities and frustrate her opponent.Once again Ashleigh and Liz were staunch in defence, Hannah, Alexis and Chelsey created space and forced turnovers as their opponents struggled to win the ball and then Steph and Emma worked hard and got the ball into the circle and then converted opportunities to goals. It was particularly pleasing for Susan our coach to see them putting training drills into practice and we are all looking forward to Saturday's game against Saint Shentona..

The first half of the Season was a struggle, with illness and short of players. But the second half of the season the girls all pulled together and worked as a team, we went from 6 position to 4th which means we are in the finals.

Well done girls

The team finished 5th on the ladder. They had some close games and their strength was their postive attitude and great sportsmanship which they showed each week. Even though they lost most of their games they came to the game each week prepared to give their best until the end of every game. There were never any complaints when they were asked to play in a position that they didn't normally play in and they supported one another to the bitter end! I was amazed and impressed by their efforts to try their best even in the games where they were being defeated. They are a great bunch of girls.

The diamonds have had a great season. We finished with a fantastic game
against the royals. Ella blew us away with 13 goals in the third quarter.
The girls were all amazing and I know I said this a lot over the last few
weeks but, we only just lost in a hard fought game, 32 to 35 in the end.
Thanks to all the parents and the players for an enjoyable winter.

Knowing we were at 4th place, every single girl came out firing on
Saturday to secure our position in the final. Such an exciting game
to watch and after a 9 goal win we will be going to the final this weekend.

The girls came out of the gates firing this season and quickly climbed up the ladder.
With each game their skill improved and it was clear that they were more than capable of playing
in the higher division. They played every game with great enthusiasm and determination. All their
hard work was rewarded as they got into the finals. Their commitment to the team became obvious when
the girls asked us for extended training sessions to prepare for the finals. In the last few weeks,
the team trained so hard and it was wonderful to see just how much they had improved since the
beginning of the season. Unfortunately we lost in the semi-finals but the girls played brilliantly
until the final whistle and never gave up.
As coaches we are so proud to see how far the girls have come and we could not have asked for a
better team! Thank you so much for a wonderful season girls and we hope to see you all
on the courts next year!

We began the season with the majority newcomers to the school. You became a wonderful enthusiastic hard working team. We were undefeated until round 7 and missed 2nd place by one game (2 points) to be placed 3rd. Well done you should be very proud of yourselves.
