PRESIDENT
  1. Ensures that Newman Sienna Netball Club, its office holders and members always act in accordance with the Club consitution, rules and regulations and as required by the West Australian Associations Incorporation Act of 1987 and the Associations Incorporation Regulations of 1988.
  2. Represents the Club in dealings with Netball WA and the Perth Netball Association Inc.
  3. Is responsible for promoting the sport of netball within the Newman College community and the wider public as occasion arises and for furthering the public relations and publicity endeavour of the Management Committee.

  5. Directs and provides leadership and guidance to all office bearers on the Management Committee in regard to their duties and counsels Management Committee members, coaches, umpires and team managers where the intervention of the most senior officer is called for.
  6. As chief executive officer, has final responsiblity for ensuring that the financial affairs of the club are being administered with due diligence and that itemised financial statements are presented to the Management Committee in writing at each of its meetings. The President examines all accounts held by the Club monthly - or th eVice President in her/his absence - and all cheques are co-signed with the Treasurer by the President, Vice President of Secretary.
  7. Supervises the activities of the Secretary, the Treasurer and the Registrar.
  8. Chairs the Finance Sub-Committee at which the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer must be present.
  9. Chairs all meetings of the Management Committee General meetings and the Annual General Meeting at which she/he will present the Annual Report.
  10. The President may suspend an office bearer if circumstances warrant this until such time as the Management Committee has an opportunity to consider the case.
VICE PRESIDENT
  1. Dutises for the President on all occasions when that officer requests that this occur or is absent.
  2. Has administrative responsibility for ensuring that the club is observing the provisions of the constitution, rules and regulations in practice.
  3. Has administrative responsiblility for putting public relations and publicity ideas of the Management Committee into practice.
  4. Supervises the activity of the Coaching Coordinator, the Umpiring Coordinator and the Equipment Officer.
  5. Performs any other duties, requested by the President.
  6. Reports to the President.
  1. Maintains all historical and current records and documents of the Newman Sienna Netball Club in good order and in an accessible location.
  2. Researchers legal and regulatory obligations of the Club at the request of the President, Vice President or Management Committee.
  3. Keeps the Common Seal stamp.
  4. Drafts letters, memos, publications and publicity material at the behest of the President and Vice President.
  5. Liases with the Management Committee members in regard to meeting agenda items and supporting documentation.
  6. Prepares and distributes agendas for Management Committee meetings, General Meetings and the Annual General Meeting.
  7. Arranges venues for all meetings at which required to be present and ensures physical environment is organised and adequate.
  8. Takes minutes at Management Committee meetings, General meetings and The Annual General Meeting and Finance Sub-Committee meetings and distributes these appropriately in due course.
  9. Reports to the President or the Vice President in the absence of the former.
TREASURER
  1. Opens and operates bank accounts and invests funds at the direction of the President and Management Committee of the direction of the President and Management Committee of the Newman Sienna Netball Club.
  2. Organises the acceptance of Club membership fees on registration day, the issue of receipts and the deposit of fees in the appropiate bank account.
  3. Operates a suitable bookkeeping system to ensure that the revenue and expenditure can be clearly accounted for on a daily basis.
  4. Arranges the deposit of donations and other monies received during the financial year.
  5. Makes payments by cheque, co-signing with the President, Vice President or Secretary, depending on the availability of these officials.
  6. Contributes to the deliberations of the Finance Sub-Committee on issues like budgeting, revenue and expenditure.
  7. Submits and speaks to written itemised financial statements of  revenue and expenditure at every meeting of the Management Committee.
  8. Cooperates with the auditor to ensure that the Annual statement of Income and Expenditure is a precise reflection of the financial status of the Club at the end of the financial year.
  9. Presents the Annual Statement of income and Expenditure at the Annual General Meeting in September and comments about anything noteworthy in it.
  10. Reports to the President or the Vice President in the absence of the former.
 EQUIPMENT OFFICER
  1. Examines all netball bags in the first week of February each Newman College academic year to ensure that the required contents are present and in good condition.
  2. Discards outdated team lists from files and any equipment which is incomplete or in poor condition.
  3. Replaces such equipment by purchase from an appropriate supplier.
  4. Packs bags with the required contents and pumps up the balls in the fortnight between individual player grading day (about 1 March) and team announcement day.
  5. Goes to Newman College campus on team announcement day an hour before the announcements are made and takes - with the help of volunteers - the correct number of netball bags for the number of teams from the store room to the place where the announcements will be made.
  6. Replaces, if necessary, balls or other items of equipment during the netball season by purchase from appropiate suppliers.
  7. collects from the coaches and checks all netball bags on the evening of the Annual General Meeting and Trophy night. The Equipment Officer  must be sure that all bags issued are returned and remove and arrange for the position bibs to be washed and then returned to the bags.
  8. Moves the netball bags to the store room until the next season after contacting John Lucas about this.
  9. Reports to the Vice President or the President in the absence of the former.
UMPIRING COORDINATOR
  1. Recruits Umpires with the assistance of the Management Committee and provides feedback to the President, Vice President and the Registrar on the appointment of umpires for the various Newman Sienna Netball Club teams and their recommended rates of pay per game.
  2. Attends and provides input to the Umpiring Sub-Committee on (a) budgeting for the training, payment and clothing of umpires and (b) the adequacy fo individual umpires.
  3. Purchases and distributes Netball Australia Rule Book (2008 reprint) and "U" for Umpiring book, while encouraging umpires to undergo further training.
  4. Ensures that umpires are conversant with Perth Netball Association Rules Governing Netball Play, the Player's Code of Behaviour, The Coaches' Code of Behaviour, the Spectators' Code of Behaviour and the umpires dress code.
  5. Attends as many Perth Netball Association fixtures at which the Newman Sienna Netball Club teams and umpires are present as possible in order to observe and instruct umpires during breaks in playing and at occasional seminars during the netball season.
  6. Reports to the Vice President or the absence of the former.
COACHING COORDINATOR
  1. Ensures that coaching programmes are running in accordance with the objects set out in the constitution of Newman Sienna Netball Club.
  2. Recruits coaches with the assistance of the Management Committee and provides feedback to the President, Vice President and Registrar on the appointment of coaches for the various teams.
  3. Attends and provides input to the Coaching Sub-Committee on budgeting, facilities, equipment and the training and adequacy of individual coaches.
  4. Develops or purchases coaching and training manuals, encouraging coaches to improve their skills.
  5. Attends training sessions for all teams, assisting coaches in conducting the sessions and providing advise on organisation, techniques, play patterns, drills aand fitness or employing someone to do this role.
  6. Assists coaches with the position placement of players.
  7. Ensures that Coaches are conversant with Perth Netball Association Rules Governing Netball Play, the Players' Code of Behaviour and the Coaches' code of Behaviour.
  8. Attends as many Perth Netball Association fixtures at which Newman Sienna Netball Club teams are playing as possible to assess coaches and players.
  9. Reports to the Vice President or thhe President in the absence of the former.
WEBSITE COORDINATOR
  1. Update the Website on a weekly  during the netball Season
  2. Email Coaches and Managers with important information
  3. Ensures the Website is backed up and running correctly.
  4. Set up mailing lists and send out emails to remind coaches, players, managers and Umpires that the Website has been updated with new information.
 COMMITTEE MEMBERS
  1. Attends the monthly meetings held by the Management Committee.
  2. Helps the Management Committee wherever possible.
  3. Prepares a list of the most valuable player in each team from the names submitted by the coaches four weeks begore the Annual General Meeting and Trophy night. discuss what form the trophy should take with the mangement Committee and orders the number required.
